AGENCY ACCOUNT FEATURES

What’s the difference between an Agency account and an app plan?

Rather than paying per app with individual app plans, with an Agency account, you pay per user seat. That means you can create as many apps in development as you like with no additional cost per app!

Are there any limitations for apps created with an Agency account compared to other app plans?

Since the Agency account is intended for developing for clients, you will not be able to deploy the app to live (they will be password-protected) and you will not have access to JSON import/export. Once you transfer ownership to your client, they’ll be able to upgrade to their preferred app plan and deploy it to live.

Who can I add to my agency?

You can give any member of your team an additional paid seat on your plan via your account settings page. You can also specify their role (design, QA, product, sales, marketing, other) and grant different access for admins and non-admins.

WORKING WITH CLIENTS

How should I work with clients on an Agency account?

After you’ve signed up for an Agency account, you can start building apps with all of the advanced building and collaboration features right away. Once you’re ready to hand over an app to your client, you can transfer it to them from the collaboration tab in your account settings.

What happens to my permissions after I transfer the app to my client?

Once you transfer the app to your client, you will no longer be able to access it. If you’re planning to still work on the app with your client, your client can invite you as a collaborator to the app at no cost.

Are there limits on how many users can edit an Agency app?

Agency apps come with 2 app editors: one for your entire agency and one for your client, but all your agency team seats are included for free!

What is tiering?

Our agency tiering system assigns agencies a Gold, Silver, or Bronze tier based on their overall contribution to the Bubble ecosystem.

How can I get tiered?

The first step toward getting tiered is earning the Bubble Developer Certification. This ensures that only sufficiently qualified developers are serving our users. Once you are certified, your tier status is earned based on several objective factors, including high customer satisfaction ratings and revenue from apps and marketplace products.
