We spoke with the founder of Céu Delivery, Juliano Rodrigues, about creating an app for business owners in Brazil to operate delivery services at a lower cost with better profits. Rodrigues built Céu Delivery to bridge the gap between delivery service owners and customers with an automated system. Bubble's powerful no-code programming tools helped Rodrigues to create his app from scratch without writing code.
Tell us about your app and what it does.
Juliano: Here in Brazil, there are two alternatives if you own a business that requires delivery services. First is offering telephone service, and the next is taking a part of the marketplace that charges absurd fees, which will greatly decrease the profit of the business. The first option may seem good, but as the business grows, the labor spends to run the service manually, and that is too stressful. But this job can be automated.
Céu Delivery, or Sky Delivery, is an alternative solution for companies to have their professional app without paying fees to marketplaces, lowering operating costs and increasing business sales and profits.
How does your app work?
Céu Delivery is a system in which in a few minutes the company already has its own delivery application working. The company makes a subscription, registers the company data, operating hours, products, delivery men, and discount coupons. Then, the user can share the app link with their customers or through social media networks. With this single app, the user can control the entire workflow: from the moment it receives the order. Until the time the delivery man delivers the order.
Tell us a little about your background and how you discovered no-code tools like Bubble.
I work in the delivery and looked for ways to create my delivery app because the telephone service was getting terrible, until discovered Renato Asse's YouTube channel. It shows several tutorials, so I started learning.
Why did you build your app on Bubble?
I am not a programmer, and I don't want to be. But I like to create my own solutions and Bubble has allowed me to create my own solution. I saw Bubble as a good business opportunity.
What have been your milestones or successes so far?
Just being able to create a system like Céu Delivery from scratch without knowing how to program has already been game-changing for me. Now I want to attract more users to my app.
What are your future plans for your app?
Céu Delivery is my latest business. I have many plans for the it. But first I have to attract a lot of clients. I want many companies to have their own delivery application. I want to improve the professional app by adding new features.
