We asked Token Rex founder, Charlotte Letrillard, about building an entertainment app that brings together creators and fans. Charlotte has a a MBA of Cinema and Animation Production and a background in the cinema industry. Charlotte chose Bubble because the no-code platform offers all of the features to build a web app and enables her to create the type of community she wanted to build for Token Rex.
Tell us about your app and what it does.
Token Rex ® is a registered trademark. It is an entertainment technology which brings creators and fans together on one platform. The application Token Rex ® could make the first entertainment community of the world.
Fan
The fans community can watch movies and listen to music without paying. They can also choose to invest in the best movies or music of the world by buying tokens.
Pro
On the other hands, the creators can follow the community and anticipate their next productions. For that, they need to create a token and sell it to the community.
The benefits accrue to the owners of production and distribution. The technology Token Rex ® is the best way to upgrade the content and reward artists.
How does your app work?
FAN
Fans can create an account. Once an account is created they can watch movies and listen to music. Fans can also like, comment, discuss on chat, and share content. They can also create playlist features to discover new content. Fans can also buy and sell tokens, interact with community and creators, and win rewards by helping the content projects to develop.
PRO
Pro uses can test a free pro account. They can create and sell tokens if they have all of the documentation. Follow the proceeding, and access to the marketing keys, pro users can interact with the community and anticipate their next production. The community can also be rewarded by offering tokens.
Tell us a little about your background and how you discovered no-code tools like Bubble.
I’m a big fan of the news technology and the entertainment business. I have a MBA of Cinema and Animation Production. I was working for the cinema industry since 2015. My friend who is also an engineer, Jean-Luc Leleu, told me about Bubble.
Why did you build your app on Bubble?
I wanted to create a community with an application which includes the Token Rex ® technology. It need to be changeable by developers in the future. Therefore, bubble seemed the best deal for me.
What have been your milestones or successes so far?
Token Rex has been a test, so I wait the feedback of my friends and family. Maybe, it’s working, I could see how it works with the fans and pros communities. We are currently just in the beginning stages.
What are your next steps or future plans for your app?
My plans are :
- Develop an entertainment community
- Integrate the Token Rex ® technology
- Deal with the owners of content.
- Offer the application Token Rex ® on the Apple and Google stores.
