Bubble App of the Day: Rapide.ly
We spoke with Rapide.ly founder, Danielle Libine, and her team about building an app that helps French-speaking small business owners develop and execute a marketing strategy. Danielle has worked in many areas, from accounting to photography, and has a passion for finding the best ways to run small businesses. A non-technical founder, she decided to use Bubble to create her app so that she could build, test, and design her ideas in minutes, not months.
What problem does your project solve?
Danielle Libine: Our app helps French-speaking small business owners (who aren't native marketers) establish and execute a solid marketing strategy to grow their businesses.
How does your app work?
When a user signs up, she answers a series of questionnaires to help organize and identify her marketing building blocks. Our system then helps her create a marketing strategy that meets her business needs and suits her communication skills. We then review her strategy together in a free coaching session to ensure that she's on the right track.
After our coaching session, she can start using the system on a day-to-day basis to plan her marketing actions, create content with one of our many templates, measure her results, and develop her skills using a large library of marketing training videos. As time goes by, she acquires more and more data about her business so that she can start automating certain actions, which will help her increase the ROI of her marketing actions.
Tell us a little about your background and how you discovered no-code tools like Bubble.
I've worked in many areas (including accounting, finance, design, photography, marketing, and management). In the last 15 years, I’ve launched and ran small businesses across the world. One of my passions is finding innovative ways and systems to increase efficiency and quality. I've also always loved computer systems, but I never formally trained as a coder (one of my earlier life regrets). So, when I discovered no-code tools, it was a dream come true. I could finally build the ideas that I had in my head without having to depend on another person.
Why did you build your app on Bubble?
I was looking for a way to test the feasibility of my idea. As a non-technical founder, I wanted to try out different approaches and ideas without it costing me an arm and a leg. After looking at several options, I settled on Bubble, because the no-code platform offered exactly what I was looking for: a way to build, test, and design apps in minutes, not months. And with the plugin library, there is virtually nothing that we can’t build ... AND it's fun! Not to mention that the community is super supportive, and if there are bugs (which doesn't happen often), the support team is very reactive. In a nutshell... Bubble is wonderful.
What has been your traction or success so far?
We launched the BETA version 18 months ago and only just moved into our "real" version. We've received a lot of positive feedback from our users; our 12-month retention rate is 52%. We only started promoting a few months ago, and today we have just under 300 users and are growing steadily. We are proud to say that we've been profitable since day 1, and Bubble has been an important part of that.
What are your future plans for your app?
In the future, we plan to help more small business owners, as well as develop more useful features so that we can continue helping our clients get their marketing done fast; above all, we want them to increase their bottom line.
