Chris Sheward, Founder and CEO of Repuzen, tells us how his platform is helping businesses to succeed with feedback from customers. Bubble's no-code ecosystem and constant influx of new plugins and features allows Chris to update Repuzen with ease and keep his own customers at the top of their game.
Tell us about your app and what it does.
Repuzen helps small and local businesses turn online visitors into real customers by leveraging the power of reviews on sites like Google and Facebook. Studies have shown a surge in consumers trusting online reviews when deciding what local business to visit. This of course means it is increasingly important for businesses to maintain good review profiles.
Local businesses such as restaurants, cafes, realtors and more can start collecting feedback easily from customers to earn positive reviews from real customers. We like to think it’s a quick, easy and affordable solution to get more reviews.
How does your app work?
When signing up for the first time you will be asked to provide information on your review profiles and to import your customers email addresses. Once that is sorted you can start inviting customers to leave you feedback in just a click of a button.
Repuzen will automatically contact customers and ask them to rate your business using the Net Promoter Score metric (1-10). Positive responders are asked to leave your business a review while negative responses are captured so you can respond without them impacting your review profiles. The platform also allows you to view useful statistics so you can easily see how many customers are responding and the total number of reviews you earn.
Tell us a little about your background and how you discovered no-code tools like Bubble.
Most of the team at Repuzen have worked with a number of different startups and small businesses. We wanted to create a platform that really helped local businesses as we have seen first hand how increasingly hard it is for them to compete against the big competition. A lot of us knew of Bubble through the community at Indie Hackers which we would recommend to any other entrepreneurs out there.
Why did you build your app on Bubble?
Bubble was a really obvious solution for us to use - it quickly allowed us to build the Repuzen platform without any unnecessary complications. It also provides us a great way to add new requested features with a quick turn around to see what works and what doesn’t.
What have been your milestones or successes so far?
The official launch was a big deal for us - we were really impressed how quickly everything came together using Bubble and it was a great milestone for the team. Since launching we’ve seen a few signups with a couple of surprising well known businesses popup. With every signup it inspires us to keep building as we can see it is helping local businesses in what can be considered a fairly difficult environment right now.
What are your future plans for your app?
We have exciting expansion plans which will help local businesses get reviews even faster. We recognized that not every business collects email addresses from customers so we’re working on a mode that can be setup on a tablet directly in-store. This not only allows for feedback and review generation but also email collection.
