We asked União Fazendas website builder, Welby G Stehling Andreatta, about building a real estate app that specializes in selling farms in Brazil. Welby is an experienced software and web developer with over 25 years in database specific apps like ERPs and CRMs. He build União Fazendas for his client, Anderson Serodio, in Brazil. He chose Bubble because the no-code platform enables him to quickly build a fully functional MVP in no time.

Tell us about your app and what it does.

The app União Fazendas was made for a client in Brazil. It’s a Real Estate app specialized in selling Farms (“Fazendas”) in Brazil. The sellers can publish and advertise their farms for sale for free while the buyers can look for/research farms in a variety of specifications and then request contact for the ones they are interested in.

How does your app work?

The App works in a simple and straight way: users who are looking for farms to buy can research them by using a form with various search options in the home page that provides results in a map and in cards on a results page. Each one of the cards leads to a page about that specific farm where the users can send their own information if they want to receive a contact about this farm. Users seeking to sell farms can sign up to the app and have access to a form with various fields of specific data regarding a farm’s characteristics, they can also upload photos, videos and other documents, and gain access to a dashboard where they are able to manage their contact info and all the farms they have advertised in the app.

The app administrators have access to a dashboard where they can view, approve and edit every advertised farm. They also have access to all of user’s data in the app, and the requested contacts about farms which have a text field for any needed considerations.

Tell us a little about your background and how you discovered no-code tools like Bubble.

I’m an experienced software and web developer specialized in database specific apps like ERPs and CRMs with more than 25 years in business.

It has been a long time since I’ve started using low-code apps as MS ACCESS, FILEMAKER, and other DB like apps and about 5 years ago I found Webflow and got aware of the no-code movement. It led me to find Bubble through Renato Asse of Sem-Codar Course.

Why did you build your app on Bubble?

União Fazendas was the perfect project for Bubble. It is 100% online and web-specific, a startup like business, and my client wanted a MVP in a small timeframe, so I gave Bubble a shot.

What have been your milestones or successes so far?

In our 1st month of operation, we had more than 200 contact requests and phone calls, and lots of new farms advertised in the app.

What are your future plans for your app?

The client wants to expand the operations with more people in his back-office by embracing more contact requests, and bringing more traffic to the app, and start an operation in other South American Markets in a close future.
