Swindle Golf set out to modernise one of golf’s most social and competitive traditions: the "Swindle." These informal, competitive roll-ups – often organised minutes before the first tee – lacked structure, visibility, and scalable coordination. Golfers wanted to play for bragging rights and small stakes, but found it hard to track results, settle scores, or even manage fair team selections on the day.
Solution:
EffectifAI built a mobile-first experience that blends the spontaneity of casual competition with the rigour of structured scoring and handicapping. The Swindle App allows golfers to create or join daily games and track results in real time. Players can view performance histories, leaderboards, and even settle side bets within the app.

EffectifAI’s product team worked closely with Swindle to design intuitive game setup flows, integrate WHS handicap rules, and build a scalable scoring engine. By focusing on UX simplicity and low-friction onboarding, the app encourages participation without adding administrative burden.

Impact:
Within three months Swindle Golf was launched on the Apple Store and Google Play.  Swindle is now expanding into new formats – including Head-to-Heads, Knockouts, and club-wide leaderboards – with a growing user base and clear product-market fit.
