Interferes with rich text editor

I am using the Bubble rich text editor plugin on the page, and the option to "disable when input is focused" does not seem to work with it. So I cannot type a space character in the rich text editor when I hit spacebar unless I delete the "presses key" workflow I have set up.

Enter button takes two hits

It works but takes two hits to the enter button for the workflow to trigger. I'm using it for login popup form. Once the user fills out email input box and password input box, the first hit of enter button takes the cursor out of the input box and the 2nd hit actually submits the form.
