The action can be activated in multiple ways, here's an example of having a button activates an alert:
1. Open button options by double clicking
2. Click "Edit workflow"
3. Add action "Browser alert"
4. Add text or Dynamic Data to use for the alert

This will trigger the browser's alert functionality when the button is clicked.
