Instructions

Step 1: Install the Plugin Go to your Bubble editor.

Open the Plugins tab.

Click Add Plugins and install the plugin you've built or import the plugin shared from the Bubble plugin marketplace.

Step 2: Add Your Writesonic API Key
In the plugin editor, open the plugin settings.

Under Shared Headers for all calls, locate the X-API-KEY field.

Paste your Writesonic API key. You can find this in your Writesonic account dashboard.

Make sure the key is set as private/secret.

Step 3: Enable API Calls
Each API call is already pre-configured with:

POST method

JSON body

Optional and required dynamic parameters

Click Initialize Call for each action to test and validate.

Important: Calls must be initialized before they can be used in workflows.

Step 4: Using Actions in Workflows
Go to your Bubble app’s Workflow tab.

Add a new action → Plugins → choose any Writesonic function (e.g., Generate Article Intro, Product Description, CTA Writer).

Fill in the fields with dynamic values (like user inputs, repeating group data, etc.).

Use the returned response (usually labeled output) in your app UI (like a Text element or repeating group).

Step 5: Displaying the AI Output
To show the result:

Add a Text Element to your page.

Set the source to: Result of Step X (Writesonic API).output or the appropriate returned field.

Step 6: Advanced Features
You can also:

Chain multiple Writesonic calls in one workflow (e.g., generate title → intro → body).

Add conditional logic (e.g., only trigger if input is not empty).

Use API responses in Repeating Groups for structured outputs like bullet points, sections, or product lists.
