Setting Up Chrome UX Analytics

Ensure you have a Chrome UX Analytics account.


Step 1: Install the Plugin

1. Go to the Bubble.io Editor for your application.
2. Navigate to the Plugin tab.
3. Search for "Chrome UX Analytics Plugin" in the Bubble Plugin marketplace.
4. Click "Install" to add the plugin to your application.

Step 2: Configure the Plugin

1. After installation, go to the Plugin settings.
2. Enter your Chrome UX Analytics API Key obtained from the Chrome Developer Dashboard.
3. Save the configurations.

Step 3: Create the Analytics Workflows

1. Go to the Workflow tab in your Bubble.io Editor.
2. Create a new workflow for the event you want to track with Chrome UX Analytics (e.g., page load, button click).
3. Add an action and select the Chrome UX Analytics action from the list of available actions.
4. Configure the analytics action by specifying the event type, parameters, and other settings.

Step 4: Design the Analytics Dashboard

1. Go to the Design tab in your Bubble.io Editor.
2. Create a new page or use an existing one where you want to display analytics data.
3. Drag and drop the necessary elements (charts, tables, graphs, etc.) onto the page.
4. Set the elements’ workflows to trigger the Chrome UX Analytics workflows you created earlier.
5. Customize the page's appearance and layout to fit your application's design.

Step 5: Test the Integration

1. Preview your Bubble.io application.
2. Navigate to the analytics page and use the elements to track and display user interactions.
3. Complete a test to ensure everything is working correctly and the analytics functions are performing properly.

Step 6: Handle Analytics Data

1. Go to the Workflow tab to handle post-analytics actions.
2. Add a workflow that triggers upon successful data collection.
3. Configure this workflow to perform necessary actions like updating the database, displaying insights, or processing the analytics data.
