Hey Bubble devs! ๐Ÿ‘‹
I'm excited to introduce the Dual List Math Engine โ€” a powerful no-code plugin that brings real list-to-list math operations to your Bubble app!

Whether you're building financial calculators, data analysis tools, dashboards, or any app that compares or computes across two lists of numbers โ€” this plugin gives you all the core operations you need.

Key Features:

Perform math operations on two comma-separated lists ๐Ÿงฎ

Supports: add, subtract, multiply, divide, percent_change, absolute_difference, cumulative_sum, and product โž•โž–โœ–๏ธโž—

Handle uneven lists with optional padding (start or end) ๐Ÿ”ง

Round results to your preferred decimal precision ๐Ÿ“

Returns output as:

output_list (comma-separated result) ๐Ÿ“‹
result_sum (total of values) ๐Ÿ”ข
result_dot_product (for vector-style math) ๐Ÿ“ˆ

Perfect Use Cases:

๐Ÿ’ฐ Financial calculators and budget trackers
๐Ÿ“ˆ Performance comparison dashboards
๐Ÿ“Š Statistical analysis tools
๐Ÿ›’ eCommerce analytics and pricing
๐Ÿ“‰ Time-series data analysis
๐ŸŽฏ A/B testing result comparisons
๐Ÿ’น Investment portfolio tracking

The Dual List Math Engine intelligently handles lists of differing lengths with optional zero-padding at the start or end, ensuring consistent behavior regardless of input format. The plugin will also replace any empty numerical values as zeros (i.e. 1,2,3, , ,6, 7 will be converted automatically to 1,2,3,0,0,6,7). It also provides optional rounding for output values, allowing developers to control numerical precision directly.

Each operation is processed in parallel across both lists, and results are returned as: A comma-separated output_list, the result_sum of all items, and the result_dot_product (where applicable).

Whether you're building financial calculators, performance trackers, or statistical dashboards, the List Math Engine provides the flexibility, accuracy, and speed you needโ€”without writing a single line of code. Best of all, it's designed with no extra fluffโ€”just clean, efficient logic you can drop into your app immediately.

From eCommerce analytics to time-series analysis, the List Math Engine supercharges your list-based workflows with precision and power ๐Ÿ’ช.

Instructions

To use the Dual List Math Engine in your Bubble app:
Add the Dual List Math element to your page.

Next, input your two lists as comma-separated text values (e.g., 10,20,30) into list_1 and list_2.

Choose an operation: Options include add, subtract, multiply, divide, percent_change, absolute_difference, cumulative_sum, and product.

Select rounding (optional): Use the round_to field to specify decimal precision (e.g., 2 for two decimal places).

Handle unequal list lengths: Set pad_shorter_list_with_zeros to "start", "end", or "none" to define how mismatched lists are aligned.

The plugin returns:

A comma-separated output_list with the computed values

The total result_sum

The result_dot_product (if applicable)

This plugin is ideal for financial analysis, scoring systems, or any logic that compares or calculates based on two sets of values. It runs entirely client-side and requires no configuration beyond the inputs.
