1. Drag the element onto the screen In Bubble's mobile editor, drag "Multi Select Dropdown Mobile" onto the desired layout.

2. Choose the source of the options
Static list: under choices_style, select static and type the options in static_choices, one per line.
Database list: under choices_style, select dynamic, point choices_source to the desired Data Source (e.g. Search for Categorias) and set option_caption to Current option's Display (or whichever field represents each item as text).

3. (Optional) Set an initial selection
Fill default_value with the items that should already be selected when the page loads, separated by commas — it needs to match the displayed text exactly.

4. (Optional) Selection limit
Fill max_items with the maximum number of items that can be selected at once. Once the limit is reached, the remaining options are visually disabled.

5. (Optional) Required field
Enable is_required so the border turns red while nothing is selected — useful for forms.

6. (Optional) Customize the look
Adjust font_color, bg_color, delete_icon_color, roundness, border_width, and border_color to match your app's theme.

7. (Optional) Language
Leave language as default to auto-detect from the device's language, or force pt, en, or es.

8. Save the selection to the database
In any Workflow (e.g. a "Save" button), use a Create a new Thing or Make changes to a Thing action, and in the target field, use the dynamic value [Element name]'s selected_items.

Note: selected_items is a list of text, not of records (Things). If the target field in the database is a list of a Data Type (e.g. a list of Categoria), you'll need an extra step in the workflow to convert text → Thing (e.g. Search for Categorias filtered by Display = each item).

9. React to changes in real time
Use the An item_selected, An item_removed, or value_changed events (in the element's Workflow tab) to trigger automatic actions as the user interacts — e.g. updating a counter, filtering another list, etc.

10. Technical requirements
Compatible only with Bubble's mobile editor (React function(props) component architecture) — does not work in the traditional web editor.
Requires no external libraries — uses only the React instance already available in Bubble's environment.
