This plugin will install a service worker into your application. In order for it to be activated, you must push to live.
The service worker comes directly from the Google workbox utility and has had some minor tweaks made to it making it suitable for Bubble applications. It requires no additional configuration to allow it to work.

Once it's setup and successfully registered, the content within your pages will be stored in the browsers cache area, and any subsequent page loads will pull the data from there instead of having to download it from Bubble every time.

General note on the use of service workers through Bubble...

"In most cases, this will increase your page loading times dramatically, but... depending on the complexity and how large your app is, this may or may not show a noticeable speed increase. The service worker proactively controls the caching of all necessary resources and should load substantially faster when reloading your pages which is great for returning visitors. It means all that data, whether it be images, scripts or other things (including fonts and pages) are always available even when offline.

Try this plugin before you purchase it. It's not a solution for magically making all scores hit the green zone through Google Lighthouse. It may help the scores but there is too much going on with the way Bubble generally loads our pages that no plugin can totally alleviate."
