🚀 What This Plugin Does
This action-based plugin allows you to:
• Share text, links and images • Trigger native device sharing (Web Share API) • Target specific communication channels • Automatically fallback to clipboard when needed • Display a localized notification when a copy fallback occurs
How to Use 1️⃣ Install the plugin in your Bubble app.
2️⃣ Create a workflow (for example: “When Button is clicked”).
3️⃣ Add the action: Plugins → Universal Share Action
4️⃣ Configure the required parameters:
• channel → Select the target channel (whatsapp, telegram, facebook, x, linkedin, email, sms, copy, system, native_or_fallback). • text → The message to share. • url → Optional link (required for Facebook & LinkedIn). • title → Optional title (used for native share & email). • image_url → Optional image (used in native mobile sharing when supported).
5️⃣ (Optional) Configure fallback behavior:
• force_fallback → Skip native sharing and use fallback logic. • toast_lang → Notification language (auto, fr, en, es). • show_clipboard_toast → Enable/disable copy notification.
That’s it — the action runs directly from the workflow.
Important Notes
• This plugin does not generate UI elements. You fully control the design of your buttons. • If direct redirection is not supported (common on desktop), the content is automatically copied to clipboard with a localized notification. • Native image sharing works primarily on mobile devices that support the Web Share API.
