Weekend Checker — User Instructions What it does
This element checks if a date you provide falls on a Saturday or Sunday and exposes the result as states you can use anywhere in your app.

Step 1 — Install the plugin
Go to Plugins → Add Plugins, search for Weekend Checker, and click Install.

Step 2 — Add the element to your page
Open the page where you want to use it. In the element picker, find WeekendChecker and drag it anywhere onto the canvas. It will be invisible at runtime, so placement doesn't matter.

Step 3 — Set the date input
Click the element → open its Property Editor → set Date to check to any date expression:

Current date/time — checks today
A Date Picker's value — checks whatever the user selects
A field from your database — checks a stored date


Step 4 — Use the states in your app
The element exposes two states. Access them by clicking any element or workflow and typing the element's name.
- Is Weekend= Yes/No
- Day of week= Day Name
