In this Quick Tip, we're going to look at using the Shape element to mock up popular layouts.

The Shape element lets you draw a rectangle on the page. While this is purely for design purposes, you can utilize it to your advantage to create mock-ups before you design your app.

With this element, you can quickly create a low fidelity wireframe, just like you would in any design tool, but have it all ready to go directly in your app. If you need more visualization, you can start to turn this into a high fidelity wireframe by giving your layout more detail, and from there start building out your design for real.

You can even customize the Shape element to turn it into a circle by maxing out its border radius. Get creative using the Shape element to help design your app when you're ready.
