According to Figma, “a wireframe is a simple visual guide that represents the skeletal framework of a website or digital product. Think of it as the blueprint for your final design. You’re providing enough detail so that everyone knows the shape of the wall, but you’re not getting so deep into it that you’re giving exact details on the type of brick the walls should be made of (that comes later).”
When building a minimum viable product (MVP), we encourage founders to focus on the least number of core features and functionality to test with users. Wireframes should outline the features in addition to providing concise and explicit details to give the evaluators of the app a better understanding. Prior Immerse founders have submitted a variety of different types of wireframes (e.g. screenshots of Figma mockups, detailed PowerPoints, or even carefully hand-drawn mockups); all submissions were high quality and provided context that was easy to follow.
