It’s unlikely that additional plugins will be deprecated in the future as a result of the plugin API version update. While platform updates are inevitable, we expect only the current plugins marked as Deprecated or “Update” are at risk for this particular issue. We still encourage you to keep your plugins upgraded to the latest version whenever possible. Anytime an update is available, you’ll see the plugins marked as “Can Upgrade”.
