To remove your payment method from Bubble, you must meet specific conditions. Here’s how to proceed:
Cancel Active Plans or Trials
Payment methods cannot be removed if your account has active paid plans or free trials linked. Before proceeding, cancel any ongoing subscriptions or trials.
Note: We also can't remove your payment method if you're the paying user for an Agency account, you have unpaid invoices, or there may be current-month overage charges that still need to be finalized before removal.
Access the Billing Section
Once there are no active subscriptions or trials, log in to your Bubble account at bubble.io/account.
Navigate to the Billing section of your account settings.
Remove Payment Method
Under the "Payment Method" section, click on the red "Remove payment card" text. This action ensures that the payment method is removed and no further charges will occur.
Bubble enforces strict policies to ensure secure and authorized payment transactions:
Active Subscription Restriction: Your payment method cannot be removed if an active subscription or free trial is associated with your account. Ensure all plans have been canceled prior to requesting removal.
Unpaid or potential outstanding Invoices: Your payment method cannot be removed if you have unpaid invoices, or there may be current-month overage charges that still need to be finalized before removal.
Paying Agency User: Your payment method cannot be removed if you're the paying user for an Agency account.
