An Inside Look at Everything Happening at BubbleCon 2023
BubbleCon — our first-ever user conference bringing together industry leaders, expert speakers, and the vibrant Bubble community — is October 24–25, 2023. With hundreds of people joining us live in NYC and thousands tuning in virtually, it’s going to be chock-full of learning, networking, and inside looks at Bubble’s vision for the future.
In-person tickets are sold out with a waitlist, but virtual tickets are unlimited and free. Here’s an inside look at everything on the schedule — so grab your free ticket, bookmark #BubbleCon2023 on Twitter, and mark your calendar for two days immersed in the future of no-code.
The big ones: BubbleCon 2023 mainstage sessions
All of the schedule’s mainstage sessions will be held in person in NYC and livestreamed for virtual attendees. Anyone watching from home will be able to connect with others in the chat, participate in polls, use the Q&A feature, and upvote other people’s questions.
Founder Keynote: “Building Bubble for the Future of No-Code”
Bubble co-founders Josh Haas and Emmanuel Straschnov have a lot to share with you. In their keynote, they’ll highlight trends that demonstrate not only how impactful no-code is today, but also why they’re confident that we’re on track for Bubble to revolutionize how software will soon be built.
They’ll also paint a picture of where we think no-code is going over the next five years, explain how we’re using all those inputs to fuel our product vision, and give you a sneak peek into some exciting updates that show how we’re actively building toward that vision.
If you can only make it to one BubbleCon session, make it this one. You won’t want to miss it.
Fireside Chat: Bubble's Product Roadmap
We know how excited you are to hear what’s next for Bubble, so we’re following Josh and Emmanuel’s keynote with a deeper look at Bubble's product strategy and roadmap by VP of Product Allen Yang. This one will include plenty of time for Q&A, from both live attendees and those watching at home — so bring your questions with you!
Possibilities at the Intersection of AI and No-Code
It’s no secret we’re standing at the precipice of a new technological era: AI is revolutionizing the way we work, communicate — and yes, build software. Emmanuel will be joined by Adobe Chief Strategy Officer Scott Belsky and Coda CEO and Co-founder Shishir Mehrotra for a thought-provoking panel discussion on what the future will look like at the intersection of AI and no-code.
Managing and Growing Your Bubble Business
For startup founders, it’s powerful to be able to build your Bubble app yourself — but there’s so much more that goes into running a company, too. We’ve gathered a panel of successful founders running businesses built on Bubble, including:
- Sarabeth Jaffe of Hello Prenup, who made a deal with Kevin O'Leary and Nirav Tolia on Shark Tank
- Chad Sakonchick of BetterLegal, which generated $2.7 million in revenue in its fifth year of business
- Adam Alphin of KleerCard, who spent more than six years working with Fortune 500 firms at a global tech company before founding KleerCard
Tune in to hear them share what they’ve learned along the way.
Immerse Demo Day Pitch Competition
Immerse is Bubble’s fully funded pre-accelerator program for underrepresented founders, and this year we’re hosting Demo Day — the pitch competition that concludes their 8-week residency — live for the very first time. This cohort of Founders in Residence is smart, passionate, and hungry to make a difference. Tune in to hear them pitch their products and vote to help us choose this year’s winners.
(Plus, even though we only have time to hear a few finalists pitch live, all of our Founders in Residence will host virtual booths for you to visit, learn about their products, and ask any questions you may have.)
Live AMA with the Bubble Founders
“I’m one of the co-founders of Bubble. Ask me anything.”
That’s right: Josh and Emmanuel are taking questions on all things Bubble, live, for an entire hour. Enough said — see you there.
An exclusive session with Bubble’s internal developers for virtual attendees
While everyone in NYC is eating lunch, virtual attendees get a special treat: a session with Bubble’s internal team of Bubble Developers — the ones who, you know, build the Bubble app that powers Bubble. (Say that five times fast.) That’s Sam Morgan, Maria Posa, and Andrew Vernon.
They’ll start by covering some of the core programming principles that guide software development, then dive into how they put these best practices to use in an app that supports over 3 million users. You’ll learn how to build for scale — ensuring your app evolves gracefully as you build new features, hire new teammates, and maintain your product for years to come.
The grand finale of our pre-BubbleCon Hackathon
One does not simply host a massive Bubble user conference without organizing a hackathon.
If you’d like to join in on some creative good fun to show off your Bubble skills, make sure you’re officially registered for BubbleCon, then read more and sign up for the hackathon here. We’ll be sharing the hackathon theme with those who fill out this form on Friday, October 13, with submissions due at the end of the day on Sunday, October 15.
Tune in as BubbleCon wraps up on Wednesday afternoon to see who wins!
Networking galore — in person and virtually
Mixing and mingling isn’t just for in-person attendees — we’re hosting BubbleCon to bring people from all over the world together. Between sessions and during downtime, log in for some virtual speed networking. You’ll have a set amount of time to chat with each person you’re matched with, with an option to extend if you really hit it off.
Plus, visit our virtual booths to meet Bubble agencies, chat with the Bubble Sales team, and more.
#BubbleCon2023 is going to be one for the books, packed with expert advice, Bubble sneak peeks, networking opportunities, and the chance to connect with like-minded Bubblers from around the globe.
