In this Quick Tip we're going to learn about the "User is logged out" event. To do this, we click to create a new event/workflow and navigate to "General" --> "User is logged out".

We use this event to trigger workflows for a logged-out user, which means when a user lands on this page and they aren't logged in, this event will run. This event is often used with a "Go to page" action to help facilitate redirects, though on its own, we can use it to display things like alerts to notify the user that they aren't logged in to perform an action.

Try this event out for yourself! We're excited to see what workflows you come up with.

That's it for this Quick Tip! For more, be sure to check out bubble.io/academy.
