Templates let you import a pre-made app to get your project started quickly. This isn't just a design feature, since templates include both the design and the workflows. The purpose of a template is to give you a more or less complete app of a given type, so you can build on top of it instead of starting from scratch.

It's worth browsing the templates section before starting an app from scratch. Many app categories start out with the same framework, so you can build additional features on top of it. Using a template doesn't restrict your ability to customize it, it just gives you a faster start, and you can skip repeating tasks that others have already done, like setting up signup and login forms.
Templates are found on the Templates page.
You can't add a template to an app after the app has been created.
Creating an app using a template
On the Templates page you can browse templates in different categories and pick one that suits your project. Clicking a template will give you a notification like the one below, and when you click Use now a new project will be created with the chosen template applied.
Reviewing a template
When you create an app with a template, you can review the template in the editor, or from the template page. You can also reveal your email to the template owner, which is useful if you need to reach them for an answer.
As the ecosystem grows, community feedback plays an important role in keeping template quality high. We appreciate your help.
