If you're getting the message "This release no longer supports X number devices..." after trying to publish my build to the Google Play Store, do not worry as this is a common occurrence. Each time we release support for a new react native version, there will be an expected drop in supported devices.
Note that there are thousands (close to 9k!) of Android devices so losing support for a very small fraction is not cause for concern.
