When using an input element with the field type set to "phone number" or "date", you may notice that attempts to clear the input either using Control-A or dragging your mouse to select all characters won't clear all of text in the input field, and the last character remains. To ensure all characters are cleared, you'll want try again and remove the remaining final character.

Alternatively, you may opt to add a reset button using the "reset relevant inputs" action to facilitate clearing inputs. For more information on this action, check out our manual entry here.
