If an API call's parameter is marked as "optional", the parameter's default value will be ignored. As a result, you may notice that information is not sent over to the API as expected.

If you would like to keep the "optional" checkbox enabled, then you can re-enter the parameter's value where the API call is used for the parameter to be sent to the API.
