Upgrading to the new responsive design system occurs on a page-by-page basis. You can upgrade any existing applications that are on legacy responsive by following the steps outlined here.

Note that new responsive settings will not apply to the Live version of your app until you have deployed the pages upgraded in a development version to Live. We strongly recommend reviewing any upgraded pages before deploying to Live to ensure the behavior matches your expectations.
