If you've modified properties on your elements over the course of your app development, you may notice that the App Search tool will use outdated properties to determine the results to display for the search. As a result, more results are returned for the search than expected.

To prevent this, we recommend optimizing your application in your app's Settings > General > "App file management" section. When clicking the Optimize Application button, you'll want to delete any unused properties that you're no longer using in your app to prevent additional items from being shown as a result in the App Search tool.
