How the RFP matching system works:
In the old RFP, all agencies saw every bid coming through. With our new RFP form, only active tiered agencies will be recommended and have access to the RFP. Active agencies are those who have the “accepting RFPs” toggled on.
During the RFP, users will be shown a selection of three best-fit tiered agencies, with the option to view more agencies (up to five) to send their proposal to.
Your position in the recommendations is randomized if you tie in terms of best fit.
We added the option to indicate a preference for freelancers (agencies of one developer).
We always try to include one Gold agency partner in the Top 3 matches (assuming they meet the users’ criteria).
