Plugin troubleshooting: FAQ

Steps to fix common plugin issues — including the Toolbox 'run javascript' action not appearing and errors when publishing your plugin.

Written by Sofia Maconi

Why isn't the 'run javascript' action showing up after installing the Toolbox plugin?

The Toolbox plugin is third-party — for additional help, check its documentation or contact the plugin creator directly.

The Run JavaScript action only appears inside a workflow event (like "Button Clicked" or "Page Loaded") — not as a standalone element. To find it:

Why isn't the SliderInput plugin available to be installed?

The SliderInput plugin has been deprecated. We recommend finding an alternative plugin on the Marketplace.

  1. Inside a workflow, click Add an action and search for "Run JavaScript." If it doesn't appear, Toolbox may not be fully installed.

  2. Try a simple "When a Button is Clicked" workflow and look for Run JavaScript there. If it's still missing, test in a different app or a blank test page.

  3. If the issue persists, try clearing your cache and cookies or testing in an incognito window.
