Native Radio Group Pro is a mobile-native radio button component for Bubble apps that allows users to select one option from a list. It is designed for iOS and Android mobile apps and is useful for forms, onboarding flows, checkout pages, settings screens, filters, profile setup, booking flows, surveys, and any workflow where the user must choose only one answer.
This plugin gives Bubble builders a clean and customizable radio group without needing external libraries. You can control the option labels, saved option values, subtitles, disabled options, selected option, layout direction, spacing, radio size, colors, validation behavior, and workflow actions.

Instructions

    []Install the plugin in your Bubble app. []Go to the mobile page where you want to use the radio button group. []Add the Native Radio Group Pro element to the page. []In Option labels, enter the text users should see, with each option on a new line. []In Option values, enter the values Bubble should save or publish, with each value on a new line. []If you want extra description text under each option, enter it in Option subtitles. []Set Selected value to choose the default selected option. []Use Disabled values if some options should not be selectable. []Choose the layout direction: vertical, horizontal, or wrap. []Customize the radio size, spacing, colors, borders, and text styling.
  1. Use the plugin’s published states in workflows, conditions, database saves, or visibility rules.
Option Labels And Values

    []Option labels are what users see on the screen. []Option values are what Bubble saves and publishes. []Each label/value should be placed on a new line. []The first label matches the first value, the second label matches the second value, and so on.
  • If option values are empty, the plugin can use the labels as values.

Published States

    []selected_value: The value of the selected option. []selected_label: The label of the selected option. []selected_values: The selected value as a list-style text output. []selected_labels: The selected label as a list-style text output. []active_values: Currently selected value. []active_labels: Currently selected label. []inactive_values: Values that are not selected. []inactive_labels: Labels that are not selected. []disabled_values: Values that are disabled. []disabled_labels: Labels that are disabled. []enabled_values: Values that are currently selectable. []enabled_labels: Labels that are currently selectable. []selected_count: Number of selected options. []is_valid: Whether the current selection passes required validation. []last_changed_value: The most recent option value the user interacted with. []last_changed_label: The most recent option label the user interacted with.
  • last_error_message: Validation or error message, if any.

Workflow Events

    []selection changed: Runs when the selected radio option changes. []option selected: Runs when the user selects an option. []option deselected: Runs when an option is deselected, if deselect is allowed. []disabled option pressed: Runs when a disabled option is tapped.
  • validation failed: Runs when validation fails, for example when required is enabled and no value is selected.

Workflow Actions

    []Set selected value: Programmatically set the selected radio option. []Toggle value: Toggle a specific value on or off depending on the settings. []Clear selection: Remove the selected option. []Validate: Check whether the current selection is valid.

Instructions For Workflows

    []To save the user’s choice, create a workflow after selection or form submission. []Use Native Radio Group Pro's selected_value as the value to save to your database. []Use selected_label if you want to display the readable label elsewhere on the page. []Use is_valid to check whether the user has selected an option before continuing. []Use the validation failed event to show an alert, toast, or error message. []Use Set selected value when you want another workflow to change the selected option.
  1. Use Clear selection when resetting a form.

    []This plugin is built for Bubble mobile/native apps. []Test on a real iOS or Android device for the most accurate behavior. []Radio groups are for single-choice selection only. []For multiple selections, use the Checkbox Group plugin instead.
  • For one true/false choice, use the Single Checkbox or Toggle Switch plugin instead.
