1. Add the Rating Star element to your mobile page.
2. Set the Value field if you want the rating to start with an existing score.

3. Set Max stars to control the total number of rating icons. The default is 5.

4. Turn on Allow half if users should be able to select values like 2.5, 3.5, or 4.5.

5. Turn on Read only when you only want to display a rating and do not want users to change it.

6. Turn on Allow Clear if tapping the currently selected rating should reset the value to 0.

7. Choose the Icon type:
- star for normal ratings
- heart for favorites or liking
- thumbs for approval feedback
- flame for popularity, heat, or excitement ratings

8. Choose the Icon style:
- filled for solid filled icons
- outline for outlined icons

9. Set Star size to control how large each icon appears.

10. Set Spacing to control the gap between each icon.

11. Set Active color for selected icons.

12. Set Inactive color for unselected icons.

13. If you use outline icons, adjust Stroke width to control the outline thickness.

14. Turn on Animated if you want the selected icon to pop when the user taps it.

15. Set Active Fill type to solid if you want one active color.

16. Set Active Fill type to gradient if you want selected icons to use gradient colors.

17. When using gradient fill, set the Gradient start color and Gradient end color.

18. Optionally set Gradient mid color if you want a third color in the gradient.

19. Set Gradient type to linear for a directional gradient or radial for a center-out gradient.

20. Set Gradient direction to control the angle of a linear gradient.

21. Use the Value state in your Bubble workflows to save or display the selected rating.

22. Use the value_changed event to run workflows when the user changes the rating.

23. Use the Set Rating action when you want to change the rating from a workflow.

24. Use the Clear Rating action when you want to reset the rating from a workflow.

Notes

- The value state is a number.
- If Allow half is off, ratings are rounded to whole numbers.
- If Allow half is on, ratings are rounded to the nearest half value.
- If Read only is on, users cannot tap to change the rating.
- The element can be used for both input and display, depending on your settings.
