Instructions

Plugin Usage Instructions: Alert Mobile The Alert Mobile plugin is designed to be straightforward and intuitive to use. Follow these two simple steps to start displaying native-like alerts in your Bubble application:

Step 1: Add the "Alert Mobile" Element to Your Page

In your Bubble editor, navigate to the page where you want your alerts to be displayable.
In the left-hand panel, locate the "Visual elements" section and search for the "Alert Mobile" element.
Drag and drop the "Alert Mobile" element anywhere onto your page.
Important: This element acts as a "controller" and is invisible to the end-users of your app. Its purpose is to initialize the plugin's logic in the background so that your workflow actions can function. Just ensure it's present on the page.
Step 2: Trigger Alerts using Workflow Actions

Now that the element is on the page, you can use the plugin's actions within any workflow in your application:

Open the "Workflow" tab in your Bubble editor where you want to display an alert (e.g., after a button is clicked, a database action is completed, etc.).
Click on "Click here to add an action...".
Go to the "Plugins" category, and you will find the actions provided by your plugin:
"Alert Mobile - Show Toast": Use this action to display a new alert message.
Upon selecting it, you'll be able to configure the alert's properties, such as Title, Description, Duration, Position on screen, Type (success, error, info, loading), and Theme. Fill in the properties as needed.
"Alert Mobile - Hide All Toasts": Use this action to dismiss all alert messages currently visible on the screen.
This action has no properties and is useful for clearing old alerts or forcefully closing a "loading" alert, for instance.
Quick Example:

To display a success alert after a user submits a form:

Create a workflow for your "Submit" button.
After the action that saves data to the database, add a plugin action: "Alert Mobile - Show Toast".
Configure its properties:
Title: "Success!"
Description: "Your data has been saved successfully."
Type: success
Duration: 3000
Position: bottom-center
That's it! When this workflow runs, your user will see a custom, native-like alert in your application.
