A Mixed Experience with "All Icons In One" Plugin
September 28th, 2023
I recently explored the "All Icons In One" plugin on Bubble.io, and it offers a promising but somewhat uneven experience. The plugin's standout feature is its ability to source icons from multiple libraries, including FontAwesome, Material Icons, and Ionic Icons, as well as support for custom SVG icons – a commendable level of versatility. However, there are noticeable quirks. Icon color customization through conditional logic is oddly elusive, a critical feature for personalization. The issue persists despite the same condition working fine with other elements. Some FontAwesome icons loaded via "fa-" codes appeared clipped, affecting visual consistency, which can be a tad vexing. Also, attempts to conditionally adjust icon width and height showed no discernible changes, impacting responsive design capabilities. In summary, "All Icons In One" shows promise but has room for improvement. Addressing the conditional styling, icon rendering, and responsive design issues would elevate its usability significantly. I anticipate these refinements in future updates, potentially making it an essential tool for Bubble.io users. I appreciate the developer's dedication to enhancing this plugin and look forward to seeing these concerns resolved.
