Base64 to Bubble URL lets you convert base64 content into a Bubble-hosted file URL from a mobile workflow. It is useful when your app receives base64 data from signatures, canvases, image tools, document generators, API responses, or any feature that needs to turn encoded content into a usable Bubble file.

Instructions

    [] Add the Base64 to Bubble URL element to your mobile page. [] The element is headless, so it does not need to be visible to users. [] Place it anywhere on the page where your workflows can reference it. [] Use the Convert base64 to Bubble URL action when you want to save base64 content as a Bubble file. [] Pass raw base64 text into the Base64 data field, or pass a full data URI such as data:image/png;base64,... [] Set File name if you want the uploaded file to have a specific name, such as signature.png, receipt.pdf, or export.txt. [] Set MIME type when you know the file type, such as image/png, image/jpeg, application/pdf, text/plain, or application/json. [] If your base64 input is a full data URI, the plugin can read the MIME type from the data URI. [] Use Attach to if you want the uploaded file attached to a Bubble thing. [] After the action runs, use the Bubble file URL state as the uploaded file output. [] Use Has URL to check whether a file URL was created successfully. [] Use Status, Is uploading, Upload progress, and Error message to show loading or error feedback in your own UI. [] Use the Clear action when you want to reset the file URL, status, progress, and error states. [] Make sure the base64 data does not include extra text before or after the encoded content.
  • For best results, provide the correct file name extension and MIME type for the file you are creating.
