How does the plugin work in general?
You place the plugin element on your page and use the “Generate PDF from HTML (server-side)” action in a workflow. You choose what to convert (full page or a specific element by ID), configure PDF settings, and the plugin generates the file.

Can I convert only part of the page instead of everything?
Yes. You can set the “Convert target” to a single element and provide that element’s ID, so only that specific group/section is exported to PDF.

What PDF layout options are available?
You can control orientation (portrait or landscape), standard or custom page formats, units, margins (padding), header and footer templates, and text direction (LTR or RTL) for languages like Arabic or Hebrew.

How do I handle multi-page PDFs and page breaks?
You can: Use “Pagebreak IDs” to force certain groups onto new pages.
Use “Page Break Inside Avoid” to prevent specific elements (like charts or cards) from being split across pages, pushing them to the next page instead if needed.

Can I style the PDF differently from the on-screen page?
Yes. The “Styles for print” field allows you to define CSS that applies only to the printed/PDF version, so you can hide elements, change fonts, or adjust layout specifically for PDF output.

You can choose to: Auto-download the file to the user’s device, Save it to Bubble’s File Manager (AWS) by enabling the upload option, Or use the returned file URL in your own database fields or workflows.

Yes. The plugin includes improved logic so repeating group cells are not cut across pages, and recent versions support generating and managing large PDF files (including heavy reports or media-rich content).
