Dimensio 3D Pro turns a static 3D viewer into a powerful Product Configurator Engine.
While the Free version lets you look, the Pro version lets you touch and modify. It bridges the gap between your Bubble database and the internal mesh structure of 3D models.

Instructions

General Instructions
1. Loading a Model: Just drag the element and paste a .glb URL. The plugin handles scaling and centering automatically.

2. Finding Mesh Names (Crucial for Configurator): To change a specific part (e.g., the laces of a shoe), you need its internal Mesh Name.

How to find it: Place the element on a page, preview it, and click on the 3D model. The plugin exposes the Clicked Mesh Name state. Display this in a text element to see the name of what you just clicked.

3. Actions & Workflows:

  - Change Color: Requires the Mesh Name and a Color (Hex, Name, or RGB).

  - Apply Texture: Wraps an image (jpg/png) around a specific mesh.

  - Play Animation: Type the animation name (case sensitive) exactly as it exists in the GLB file. If empty, it plays the default animation.

4. HDRI (Realistic Lighting): To get realistic reflections, paste a URL to a .hdr file in the Environment URL field.

  - Note: Only .hdr files are supported (not .exr). You can find free ones at Poly Haven.

5. Screenshots: Run the "Take Screenshot" action. When the image is processed, the Screenshot Ready event triggers. You can then save the Screenshot Image state (Base64) to your database.
