DocForge is a PDF invoice and document generator designed for Bubble applications.
It allows Bubble developers to generate professional, structured, and fully customizable PDF invoices and receipts directly from workflows, without relying on external PDF tools or manual exports.
DocForge supports: - Multiple invoice layouts (Classic, Modern, Minimal) - UTF-8 text encoding (accented characters and international languages) - Multi-currency invoices (including FCFA / XOF) - Multi-languages supported (FR, EN & ES) - Line items with quantities, unit prices, discounts, and totals - Optional taxes (VAT or custom tax rates) - Payment details (method, transaction ID, receipt reference) - Company and client information blocks - Automatic totals calculation (subtotal, total, balance due)

DocForge allows you to generate PDF invoices and receipts from your Bubble workflows.
How it works
1. Install the DocForge plugin in your Bubble app 2. Use the provided actions to send structured invoice data: - Company information - Client information - Invoice metadata (number, date, due date, currency) - Line items (description, quantity, unit price) - Taxes, discounts, totals - Payment details (optional) 3. Select an invoice template (Classic, Modern, or Minimal) 4. Generate a PDF file that can be: - Downloaded - Stored in Bubble - Sent to clients by email - Displayed in your application
Free plan (automatic)
DocForge includes a **free plan**: - 15 PDF generations per month - Automatically activated for all new users - Credits reset every month - No payment required
When free credits are exhausted, PDF generation is temporarily disabled and users are invited to contact the DocForge team for extended access.
At this stage, credits are managed manually to evaluate real usage and pricing needs.
Usage limits
- Each user is limited to **5 PDF generations per day** - Daily limits are enforced using local storage on the user’s device - Monthly limits are enforced at the account level
- The plugin is UTF-8 compliant and supports accented characters - No external PDF service is required - No subscription is required to start testing
Data collection and tracking
DocForge processes only the data provided by the Bubble app to generate PDF invoices and receipts (company, client, invoice items, totals, and payment details).
This data is used solely for PDF generation and is not used for analytics, marketing, or third-party tracking.
Usage limits (monthly credits and daily tests) are enforced using account-level counters and local storage on the user’s device.
