🧾 Plugin Description: A modern, animated slideshow plugin for Bubble.io that transforms any element — especially Groups — into a fully customizable background image slider without covering your content. Unlike standard image sliders that act as isolated elements, this plugin runs behind your layout, allowing you to place and layer Bubble elements (texts, buttons, shapes, etc.) directly on top. It supports image URLs, caption titles and descriptions, thumbnails, dot and arrow navigation, open-link actions, and multiple animation styles. Ideal for hero sections, portfolios, client showcases, testimonials, or dynamic headers.

Instructions

⚙️ Plugin Setup Instructions:
1. Drag the element (eg.Group) onto your Bubble page
This Group will act as the slideshow container. You can place any Bubble elements (texts, buttons, icons) inside it — they will remain visible above the slideshow background.

2. Assign an Element ID to the Element (eg. Group)
In the Group's property editor:
- Go to the “ID Attribute” field under the "Appearance" tab.
- Enter a unique value, e.g. heroSlider1.

3. Configure the Plugin Element
Place the Slideshow plugin element anywhere on the page. In its properties:
- Set the Element ID input to match the exact ID you gave the Group, e.g. heroSlider1.
- Choose your image list, transition style, duration, and other options.
- Optionally provide links, caption titles, and descriptions for each image.

4. Preview and Enjoy
Your images will now play in the background of the Group, while your Bubble elements stay interactive and visible on top.


🔒 Notes:
- Ensure all lists (images, links, captions) are the same length or leave optional ones empty.
- Avoid using images with very large sizes for optimal performance.
- To dynamically show captions in Bubble text elements, bind to the exposed states current_caption_title and current_caption_description.
