1. Place an element
• Use WorldFlatMap for a flat world map, or WorldGlobe3D for the 3D globe.

2. Paste markers JSON

• Minimal example:

• (Globe “buildings”): add "height": 300 per marker, or use "value" with a global height scale.

3. Style it

• Set background_color, area_color, border_color, marker_color/size, etc.
• For selection colors: emphasis_* (hover) and selected_* (on click).
• Globe: pick a preset (day/night/flat/minimal) or provide custom textures.

4. Use states & events

• Flat map exposed states: hovered_region, selected_regions_json, selected_count.
• Events: area_hovered, area_selected.
• Build workflows off these (see demo page).
