1. If you haven't already done so, go to the Settings tab and under General, check the box that says "expose the option to add an ID attribute to HTML elements".
2. Download the plugin.
3. Click on the text that you want to apply the gradient on. Scroll all the way to the bottom to where it says "ID attribute". Give it a unique name.
4. Open the plugin and next to "ID" give it the exact name from step 3.
5. Choose the two colors you want for the gradient and you are done!
