This plugin generates real, editable PowerPoint presentations from your Bubble elements. Unlike other plugins that take screenshots, this tool preserves text, shapes, and vectors, allowing users to edit the slides after downloading. PREREQUISITE: Enable ID Attributes
To use this plugin, you must enable element IDs in your Bubble app:
Go to Settings > General.
Check the box "Expose the option to add an ID attribute to HTML elements".
HOW TO USE
Step 1: Design your Slide
Create a Group in your Bubble editor that acts as the slide container.
Recommended width: 960px or 1280px (16:9 aspect ratio).
Avoid using complex "Background Styles" on groups. Use standard Image elements instead.
Step 2: Assign an ID
Select the Group you created. Scroll to the bottom of the property editor and find the "ID Attribute" field. Give it a unique name (e.g., slide1).
Step 3: Setup the Workflow
Add the action "Generate PPTX from Slides" to your workflow (e.g., on a button click).
ACTION INPUTS
1. Slide Element IDs (List of Text)
This field requires a list of the ID strings you assigned in the Design tab.
For a single slide or static list: Use "Arbitrary Text". Type your IDs separated by commas (e.g., slide1,slide2) and use the operator ":split by (,)".
For dynamic lists: You can pass a list of texts from your database or Repeating Group.
2. File Name (Text)
Type the desired name for the file (e.g., MyPresentation). Do not include the extension (.pptx).
3. Compress (Yes/No)
Check this box to compress images within the slide, reducing the final file size.
FEATURES & TIPS
Editable Text: Text elements in Bubble become editable text boxes in PowerPoint.
Vectors: SVG icons (like Ionicons or Feather) are exported as vector shapes. You can resize and recolor them in PowerPoint.
Images: Use the standard Image element for best results.
Visibility: Only visible elements are exported. Hidden groups (display: none) will be ignored.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Element not found: Ensure the ID Attribute in the design tab matches exactly the text string passed to the plugin (case-sensitive).
Download blocked: Check if your browser is blocking pop-ups.
Layout issues: Avoid negative margins. PowerPoint renders HTML differently than browsers; keep layouts simple (Flexbox/Groups) for high fidelity.
