Is it possible to highlight directly on the input or multiline input? Or does it work only with text? Thanks!

Does this work when the text element is in a Repeating Group? how would it work?
Also seems to be not properly working, if you can take a look at the new responsive editor, the Multiline input does not have an ID attribute, while it should. Not sure why it is in fact working on preview mode. However I cannot make the plugin work on my own editor.

I did everything as mentioned but the plugin seems not to work correctly. Then I found in the forum that this plugin apparently actually has a bug, it would be great if they fix it because it's an amazing solution.

This seems like it should be pretty straightforward. However there isn't any documentation, and it doesn't seem to work at all.
On top of that the "index_new_engine" page shows the element text id, and then the actual text that it is highlighting has an empty element id??? Doesn't really make any sense to me, seeing as how that is what I thought made the plugin work.
You need to wrap your text element into a group element - and then add attach an id to the group element, not the text one. That's for the new responsive engine. (plugin author)
