Seems greaet!! But no way to reference the data of the clicked map marker
October 18th, 2024
i can show a popup but i can't show the details of what was clicked because there is no way to reference it through an id or something. im i doing this wrong?
Hello, 👋 This is Anton from the Zeroqode Support Team. Our plugin provides a "Marker clicked" event, along with states like "Marker clicked id" and "Marker clicked index". These can be used to reference the specific marker that was clicked. This functionality should allow you to show the corresponding details when a marker is clicked. For popups, there are two options: Simple popup: This is displayed automatically when a marker is clicked, showing the description field from your database. You can set this in the "Add marker" action, and it supports limited HTML. Here’s an example screenshot: https://prnt.sc/LqOf4vP4JCod Custom popup: If you'd like more control over the popup content, you can use the "Show custom popup" action. For this option, you’ll need to set up a separate page for the popup and use the data from the states (like the clicked marker's ID) to display the information you need. Here’s a screenshot for reference: https://prnt.sc/3Q2ItXJ_DI5V You can also check out our updated documentation here: https://docs.zeroqode.com/plugins/leafy-maps I hope this clears up how to reference the clicked marker's data. If this explanation helps, we would appreciate it if you could reconsider updating your review. If you have any further questions or need help setting this up, feel free to reach out via our forum at forum.zeroqode.com or by email at support@zeroqode.com. We are always here to assist! to be perfect, it just needs to be responsive... it would be a perfect plugin... will there be an update with responsive maps??
Oh hi! Thank you for your kind words! On responsiveness, the day I have some spare time I will do it, but you or anyone else can sponsor the work needed and I would be able to fit it in my normal schedule as well, this way it would happen much sooner. So you or anyone else can just email me about this if interested and if it is a good fit (: (plugin author)
