Great markdown editor

Markdown Rich Text Editor is exactly what I needed for my AI-powered app. Input comes down via API from my AI of choice into the markdown editor, where the user can edit it and save it to the database. The markdown editor works beautifully and as advertised (in contrast to some freebies I initially played with). I like that you can choose which tools (bold, preview, etc.) to activate for the user in the toolbar. I don’t need a separate preview window (as in the demo) and I was happy that it isn’t required (it’s a separate visual element you don’t have to use).

Works great. I need to be able to change background color.

Is there a way to update it so we can change background color? This would make a 5 star for me. Is there an alt way to achieve this?
Awesome, but editor's fit height to content doesn't work

I want the input to adjust height base on the content inside. Not regardless the button "fit height to content" doesn't make any difference. Second problem, I can not prevent press Tab from making a code block with indentation even if I switched off the code toggl. That breaks all of my userflow of jumping between inputs with Tab. The third problem, side by side and preview just does not work correctly, it oveewrites the UI components which is impossible to use. If you fix I'll buy perpetual. Thank you!

Works perfectly, wish there were more skins than just light/dark, but it's not a deal breaker at all.
