1. Drag n drop MA - File Upload Handler into your page. This element won't take any space as its just the handler. You need to trigger the file picker from workflows.
IMPORTANT: Also, in the properties, you need to put your APP ID (this helps plugin to upload file into your app file manager - otherwise upload will FAIL).
2. Place a Button or Group on the page, something like Choose File to upload.
3. Add Click workflow on your element, and add action MA - Open File Picker
Once the user selects the file, it will start uploading. For better UX: Apply condition on your button, that if MA - File Upload Handler is Uploading, change the label to Uploading...
