Instructions

Setting Up Payhere
Ensure you have a Payhere Business account.

Step 1: Install the Plugin

1. Go to the Bubble.io Editor for your application.
2. Navigate to the Plugin tab.
3. Search for "Payhere Plugin" in the Bubble Plugin marketplace.
4. Click "Install" to add the plugin to your application.

Step 2: Configure the Plugin

1. After installation, go to the Plugin settings.
2. Enter your Payhere Client ID and Secret Key obtained from the Payhere Developer Dashboard.
3. Save the configurations.

Step 3: Create the Payment Workflows

1. Go to the Workflow tab in your Bubble.io Editor.
2. Create a new workflow for the event you want to trigger a Payhere payment (e.g., button click).
3. Add an action and select the Payhere payment action from the list of available actions.
4. Configure the payment action by specifying the amount, currency, and other payment details.

Step 4: Design the Payment Page

1. Go to the Design tab in your Bubble.io Editor.
2. Create a new page or use an existing one where you want to add the payment button.
3. Drag and drop a button element onto the page.
4. Set the button’s workflow to trigger the Payhere payment workflow you created earlier.

Step 5: Test the Integration

1. Preview your Bubble.io application.
2. Navigate to the payment page and click the payment button.
3. Complete a test transaction using Payhere’s sandbox environment to ensure everything is working correctly.

Step 6: Handle Payment Confirmation

1. Go to the Workflow tab to handle post-payment actions.
2. Add a workflow that triggers upon successful payment confirmation.
3. Configure this workflow to perform necessary actions like updating the database, sending confirmation emails, or redirecting the user to a thank-you page.
