QUICK START
1. Drop the "Mobile PDF Viewer" element onto a page in your native mobile app.
2. Set PDF URL to a Bubble file field (Current User's Document's URL) or any public link to a PDF.
3. Preview. That is the whole setup — the element handles loading, scrolling and zooming.

Give the element room. It fills whatever space you give it, so a full-page group works best.

PDF URL
Accepts any URL that returns a PDF and allows cross-origin requests. Bubble file fields work as they come. If you host PDFs elsewhere and the document does not open, the host is most likely blocking cross-origin requests — serve it from Bubble storage instead.

READING MODE
"One page at a time" is on by default: each page fills the screen and the reader swipes
sideways to move, the way a reader app behaves. Turn it off for one continuous scroll
with every page stacked — better for reports people skim rather than read.

ZOOM
The minus and plus buttons step between fit and 4x. Pages are re-rendered at the new size,
so text stays sharp instead of being scaled up. While zoomed in, sideways swiping pans
inside the page instead of turning it; zoom back to fit to turn pages again.
The Zoom level state always holds the current factor, and the Set zoom action drives it
from a workflow.

SAVING READING PROGRESS
Use the "The page changes" event with "Make changes to Current User" and store the element's Current page state. To reopen where the reader left off, set the Start page field to that stored number.

GATING ON COMPLETION
The "The reader reaches the end" event fires once the reader scrolls to the bottom of the last page. Use it to enable an Accept button on a contract, or mark a lesson complete.

NIGHT MODE
Either tick the Night mode field, or leave it off and call the "Set night mode" action from a workflow so the reader can toggle it themselves.

HIDING THE BUILT-IN BAR
Untick "Show built-in controls" and drive the viewer with the Go to page, Next page,
Previous page, Set zoom and Set night mode actions from your own buttons.

RENDER QUALITY
Default is 2, which is sharp on modern phones. Raise it to 3 for documents with fine print. Lower it to 1 if you are targeting older devices and want faster page draws.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Nothing appears — check that PDF URL is not empty and points at a PDF, then read the Last error state.
Document opens but pages stay blank — the file is likely password protected; that is not supported.

The live link opens the plugin running on a native mobile page — swipe sideways to
turn pages, use the bar at the bottom to zoom or switch to night mode. The editor
link opens the same page in the Bubble editor with the element selected.
