Getting started is easy:
1. Install the plugin and add the Gantt chart element to your page

2. You can start with dummy data to check the plugin features by enabling field "Show example tasks"

3. Then disable the field and configure fields "Data type" and "Data source" to show real data.
- Data type: The Bubble data type representing a single Gantt bar (task). Select the type of thing in your app that each Gantt task should represent.
- Data source: The list of things (of the selected Data type) to display as Gantt tasks. Typically a database search.
- ID, name, dates, etc. - field mappings from your type (Data type field) to Gantt bar (task) properties.

4. Then customize the appearance, change behavior or integrate more deeply with actions, events or states. Everything is documented in the Bubble.

FAQ

Q: Why does the "Language" field not translate all texts?
A: The language setting currently affects date formats only. Some UI texts (like the Today button, tooltips, or view mode dropdown) are fixed in English. As a workaround, you can hide these elements and build your own buttons or tooltips with conditions.

Q: Can I save new dates when dragging tasks?
A: Yes! Use the "Task date changed" event to trigger a workflow that saves the new start and end dates to your database. The "changed task new start" and "changed task new end" states provide the updated dates.
