Instructions

1 - Enable ID Attributes: Go to your Bubble App Settings > General tab. Check the box: Expose the option to add an ID attribute to HTML elements.
2 - Create the Input: Add a standard Input element to your page.

3 - Set Content Format to Text.

4 - Scroll to the bottom of the property editor and give it an ID Attribute (e.g., date-input).

5 - Connect the Plugin: Place the Date Masker element on the page.

6 - In the Input ID field, type the exact ID you created earlier (e.g., date-input).

Amazing find that soon after I left some feedback, the author got to it and enhanced it as I needed!
Great quick and easy input masker with some bonus features of useful output data. Could use some updates to not lack some of the vanilla Bubble date/time input element's features.

I love the configurable formats and the ability to type in both date and time. However, I have 2 issues that I worked around that would have been nice to be included: (1): Bubble's date input allows jumping to next part of date by typing a slash. E.g. "1/1/2025" will yield 01/01/2025, but with this input masker, you need to type the "0"s..... and (2): I use timezone override and this plugin doesn't expose that option. So I'm stuck with current user's time zone, but I was able to get around that by calculating an offset variable and using +hours on a hidden date/time input with TZ-override, and making that my value that gets pushed to the database.
Thanks for the great review! I really appreciate the detailed feedback. You make excellent points regarding the 'slash' navigation for easier typing and the Timezone override. I agree these are missing features compared to the vanilla element. I have added both requests to my roadmap and will work on including them in the next update to improve the UX. (plugin author)
